My name is Roselle Hurley and I've been collecting and showing model horses for 31 years. Over this time I've accumulated a bit of knowledge about Breyer model horses and a bit more about real horses. Most of my knowledge about model horses is about OF (that stands for original finish) horses and photo and live showing in the Los Angeles area back in the late 80's and early 90's. I haven't done much showing recently, but I have been active as a horse show judge for the High Desert Live shows.
My plan is to put my personal reminiscences about my early days of collecting, showing, showing tips and other model horse related information into my blog entries. I also am working on creating a web page of suggested alternative breeds for some of Breyer's most popular models. I also plan to create a list (in my opinion) of LSQ (live show quality) OF models.
